MRL gearless machines
- Compact gearless drive configurations
Interactive diagrams and catalogue dimensions for early project discussions. Final installation drawings follow a site survey and engineering approval.
Machine-roomless configurations combine capacity, speed and dependable operation. The brochure describes worm and thrust-bearing construction for load capacity, lubrication for service life and rubber isolation mounts to reduce vibration. Machine selection is confirmed for each configuration.

*The source labels the second column “Headroom clearance (A)” but gives values 272–1360. This label is inconsistent with a headroom dimension; values are preserved as printed and must be clarified with SMB before use. The animated shaft is an explanatory diagram, not an installation drawing.

Animated tread path illustrates direction of travel.

Dimensions depend on local requirements, codes, machine and drive selection; replacement installations may need adapted dimensions. L in the load expressions requires unit confirmation. The brochure table prints “NU*” while its note refers to “HU and HL”; those source labels are retained for review.
HU/HL values are stated for a 930 mm balustrade. Minimum S: 1056 mm indoors; 1256 mm outdoors. Lifting-hook capacity: 50 kN. Hook offset: 100 mm. Side drawing also marks safety fence, wedge guard, drainage, power supply, RU/RD supports, 900 mm rail height, 580 mm lower return, H−2800 clearance and 890/657 inclined clearances.
Custom designs, finishes and lighting can complement the architecture. Applicable safety and performance standards are confirmed for the project.

*“PV” and “Trose” reproduce the source headings. Confirm intended pit/truss terminology and dimensions before construction. Clear floor access at each landing: C × 2500 mm or 2C × 2000 mm. Plan includes wedge guard, drain and power supply.
Upper/lower landing support details are symmetrical. Elastic material fills the gaps. Steel plate: 30 × 180 × D; fixing bolt: Φ16 × 150. The support nose and bearing face must be level. Steel detail: 155/95 mm; anti-vibration detail: 175/145 mm; horizontal offsets: 200/40 mm. Drawings are recreated for explanation and are not construction documents.
